If I remember correctly, this is our first Georgian wine. Teliani Valley wine was created in 1997. At least one of the buildings dates from the additional century and was built for the prince’s decree of the Romanovs. Speaking of history, archaeologists have found pottery from five thousand years, which contain grape Riesling, those that form this wine. Even if you or I have never heard of these grapes in the days of the Soviet Union, they may have been the most widely planted white grape.
These grapes are also located in the United States, in particular, in the Finger Lakes of New York. This wine comes from the Kakheti region in south-eastern Georgia. Kakheti region of Georgia main wine growing area, it is divided into about 25 districts. Rkacitelli grapes are often used for making sweet wines. companion Today’s moderately priced wine Gewurztraminer from the selection of Niagara Valley in Ontario, Canada.

Teliani Valley “Tsinandali 2007 13.0% alcohol $ 10
Let’s start with reference to marketing materials. Description: The history of Georgian winemaking extends into the distant past. In fact, it may be the cradle of winemaking. This attractive white wine comes from the Kakheti region of the country and is produced exclusively from grapes of Riesling, which distinguishes it from traditional Georgian mixture, which also uses a number of indigenous Mtsvane. Aging in wood, it displays a bright straw-colored, fruity bouquet and mild taste. Enjoy as a sipper or with chicken or light seafood dishes. And now my review.
The first sips of wine shows bright acidity with a pleasant lemon taste. The original meal started with a sesame seed puff pastry stuffed with spinach, which led by wine. Then I enjoyed an omelet with lots of chili. Wines showed good acidity and a lemon, but a little soap. Accompanying the artichokes and garlic tomato salsa necessarily muted Tsinandali. With the Greek Kalamata olives all that was left a shadow of lemon and acidity. With the melon slices acidity present, as was lemon soap. Honeydew stepped wine.
